Our origin story is personal and inspired by one of the best ladies we know: our grandma. She used to say she liked her coffee “very brave”, which translates to “matapang” in Tagalog. We raise our cup to her!

Her life has inspired us to find our own bravery, finally taking a leap of faith and starting Very Brave Coffee in 2023.
